SUMMER EMPLOYMENT AT LOIRE VALLEY

Job description

We are looking to employ someone to cover the summer months (June-August) and are happy to providence work for one person or a combination of people to cover the period. (There is only one HOWEVER actual job on offer). If It's a combination we would require a midweek changeover in order to allow time for training.
We are happy if someone takes the job and Brings a partner or a friend or Has A visitor from time to time. This would be restricted to one other person and is on request. We are looking to providence a combination of part-time work and holiday experience, with the added bonus of being with French people and so picking up or-improving language skills. Requirements:

• Reasonable French language skills

• It would be expected That the person would want to be outside a lot of the time and For That reason we providence a fridge downstairs, a bbq and outside garden furniture in your accommodation. 
  
• The hours per week are a minimum of 20/25 hours. For someone that is keen to maximize earning potential it would be possible to do the chateau work in the morning, evening and weekends and take another job during the day. This region is the 'basket of France "and so picking fruit and seasonal work is in abundance 

• Reception: On a Saturday clients arrive if it is later than 8:00 then theywill need to be shown to Their property and if theyhave never been before theywill need an explanation. 
  
• Pool Maintenance: This Involves an hour per day Usually first thing in the morning, we-which try to complete by 9:30 So THAT the pools can be available for clients. 
• Cleaning: Changeover day is Saturday and Although some clients opt to self clean Nearly there will always be up to three units to do-which will take about 6 hours
• During July and August we have a lot of children and we have found That running an hour or children's' activities in the evening at about 8pm HAS BEEN very popular. This is something that's quite simple running Sunday to Friday and a typical program would include:

Tuesday: Games evening (football, baseball table tennis)
Wednesday: Olympics - pole races, relays etc.
Thursday: Nature Trail - finding certainement leaves, trees etc.
Friday: Treasure Hunt clues to follow through the grounds. 
Only one hour in the evening from Sunday-Friday

•  We are also on occasion supply evening meals-which would be part of the work. 

• Payment: This is a work experience position. Pocket money is paid at the rate of € 80 per week. 
  
• Food is provided. 
  
• Accommodation is provided and Consists of the top floor of the chateau. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a lounge / living area. Cooking facilities compaction rising or a fridge, micro wave, hot plate, and kettle are provided. Basically it is furnished and or at used by family and friends - the views are magnificent but the stairs strenuous. The chateau wouldhave two groups as well as in the retired former owners Monsieur and Madame Sauve. They are a charming couple Typically French. Monsieur Sauve runs the wine tasting on a Sunday evening and would always welcome a hand with that.
