Job Description: AmeriCamp is a nine week experience, with the opportunity to travel up to one month after your placement. You will be working closely with children of all ages and will participate in a wide variety of outdoor and adventurous activities. This is a cultural exchange so American cultural activities will be included (e.g. sports games, theme parks, Fourth of July parties, etc.). To say this is an experience of a lifetime is an understatement. You will be making so many friends from all over the world that your Twitter and Facebook profile will never be the same.
We are looking for energetic, adventurous and fun people, from around the world, who are great with children. Though not essential, any previous coaching, teaching or experience with children would be an asset. Here is a list of skills camps look for in a camp counsellor (this is not a complete list).
