Exciting new Role with Yellow Moon Tours

An exciting entrepreneurial role to work in and manage operations of a luxury private tour company. You will help develop itineraries, deal with customer service, liaise with team members in London, Paris and New York and assist in the company's expansion. All training provided.

Job description

This is a unique and exciting entrepreneurial opportunity for a person to join a rapidly expanding international company. The role requires someone capable of graduating from operations assistance to management in a short period of time. There are 3 strands to this job:

1.) You will be required to assist with the development of new tours and experiences in other regions of the UK, Europe and beyond. Researching guides, drivers and suppliers.

2.) Managing and co-ordinating tours and operations in the UK - liaising between guides, drivers and hotel concierge teams. You will also deal directly with customers, helping to resolve issues and answer queries. Training will be provided so that you become both expert in and inspired by the sites and possibilities of London, the countryside and Scotland.

In addition to UK support, you will be engaged with our American/Canadian operation recently launched as well as our operation in Paris - again liaising with local teams and guides on the ground.

3.) Assist with marketing and social media and writing/creating exciting itineraries for our private tours.

A London base is not essential - there is a fair amount of home based work - but a familiarity with London and willingness to travel down for training and regular intervals to meet with team members and concierge teams is required.

The Candidate:

We are really looking for someone who is interested in the world around them. Someone creative and proactive. An interest in history, creative writing or travel would all be beneficial - training will be provided. Someone who is able to work independently and relishes the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing business that helps give people around the world special and unforgettable experiences both in the UK and abroad.

We are not necessarily looking for people experienced in this sector or with a degree related to it - we are happy to train - but someone who is as passionate about stories, travel and having fun whilst helping to manage and raise a business to new and profitable heights would be ideal.
