Explore Learning in Ealing are seeking passionate, enthusiastic people to join our excellent team of tutors helping children aged 5-14 with maths and English.
We are looking for confident, enthusiastic people with good academic records and vibrant personalities who show a flair for working with children. Tutors are required to guide children through maths and literacy activities and inspire them to enjoy learning in a fun and stimulating environment.
We can offer regular shifts in the evenings and weekends that fit around studying and other commitments, rates of pay are negotiable depending on experience and performance. Tutors will also receive structured training and appraisals with the opportunity for progression for outstanding tutors.
As part of our team you will be representing Explore Learning and actively involved in teaching and mentoring the children who attend our centres.
You will help to monitor their academic and social progress as well as help to provide feedback for their parents. Our low ratios mean that you will be working with 6 children at a time, providing them with support and encouragement as well as working closely with the centre managers to ensure that the curriculum is tailored correctly for each child.
You will be a great role model for our children and help to create a vibrant, positive atmosphere that is enjoyable for everyone.
Required:
Grade B or above in GCSE maths and English
Relevant experience working with children.
