Mystery shopping is the tool used by BARE International and other companies to measure quality of retail service or gather specific information about products and services.

Mystery shoppers posing as normal customers perform specific tasks such as purchasing a product, asking questions, following specific scenarios and then provide detailed reports or feedback about their experiences. You will be asked to mystery shop in all sectors, from simple phone calls and high street retail visits to luxury accommodations and transport.

A - Level / Scottish Highers / BTEC or NVQ equivalent

-Reliability – This is our most prized quality. If you are reliable and trustworthy you will be noticed and you will receive more work. Especially deadlines are very important for us.

-Eye for detail – You will be required to spot and look for a lot of small details. Report what you see and if you do not remember something, go back.

-Flexibility – You will need to adjust to different types of scenarios and will need to respect specific project-related timings.

-Anonymous – We will ask you to not reveal yourself as a mystery shopper. It is vital that you act as a normal customer and that you do not take any notes during your assessment.

-English language – You will need to interact with staff in stores, and write detailed comments in your reports. Therefore, you need to have a good command of both spoken and written English.
