Brief description

We are looking for columnists and reporters to write accounts of political events and articles on what interests them. As a columnist and/or reporter you will be working together with other columnist and/or reporter as a team or on your own.

Job description

If you feel passionate about UK and world politics and want some experiance then we are always in search of talented political reporters and columnists.

Articles can be on anything, however at times you may be requested to report on a given issue.

Articles can generally range from 400-800 words.

Articles, once completed, will be reviewed by the chief editor and then published on the shoutoutUK website.

VIDEO ARTICLES ARE ALSO EXEPTED AND WILL BE POSTED ON SHOUTMEDIA, OUR ONLINE NEWS CHANNEL.

Education Level

GCSE / Scottish Standard Grade / BTEC or NVQ equivalent

Job Requirements

Perfect written and spoken English

Excellent research and interviewing skills

Ability to work as a team and individually

Self-motivation

Ownership of camera or tape-recorder preferable.

Willingness to be in the middle of demonstrations and other political events.
