A Gymnastics Coach is responsible for the day to day running of our ‘Jump’ programme, and the planning, preparation and delivery of the programme to a group of children. The Gymnastics Coach leads a group of children aged 5-10 years through a prescribed range of gymnastic activities as part of the Jump programme.  The Gymnastics coach will also lead a group of age specific children through a range of non-gymnastics sports and activities at times when the Jump programme is not running.

Our Jump sessions include a range of skill sessions combined with performance and display elements, getting all the children involved and helping them to improve their skills and performance.

GCSE / Scottish Standard Grade / BTEC or NVQ equivalent
A - Level / Scottish Highers / BTEC or NVQ equivalent

Ideal candidates will be a minimum of NGB Level 2 qualified in a gymnastic or cheer discipline with experience of team management and extensive coaching experience.

Experience of working with children aged 5-10 years is essential along with good leadership and organisational skills, be vibrant, fun and have a confident personality.

Experience delivering non-gymnastic based activities is also desirable
