Kings Camps

As an educational charity our mission is to develop young people by giving them skills through experience. The King’s Foundation has 20 years experience providing children’s multi-activity programmes and young people development in the UK, Europe and Africa. We operate day camps at 45 sites throughout the UK as well as providing many international opportunities.

Our Work Placements give you the opportunity to work in a range of different positions including multi-sport coaches, specialist sports coaches and play leader positions, together with the chance to work with a range of different child age-groups from 3 to 17 years. We're flexible about how many hours or weeks you need to work and also where you work as we have over 40 different locations for work placements throughout the UK. 

The programme is structured to cover, and provide evidence of, clearly identified learning outcomes

Our work placements offer students the following benefits:

• Minimum of 90 hours contact time

Work placements are completed on a voluntary basis initially, graduating on to a paid contract upon successful completion of placement period

GCSE / Scottish Standard Grade / BTEC or NVQ equivalent
A - Level / Scottish Highers / BTEC or NVQ equivalent
