We are a new start-up multimedia subsidiary operating under the trademark of the parent company, The 14 Group. We specialise in logos and branding, and are currently recruiting graduates and capable undergraduates to join our team of existing web designers.

Job description

This business is looking for flexible fantastic web designers who can work quickly and effectively upon time constraints, preferably who have recently graduated in a creative IT/Computer Science related field.

Current talanted undergraduates are also welcome to apply if they can include a creative and comprehensive portfolio upon applying.

This position offers a brilliant opportunity for such gradautes/undergradutes to expand their CV and credibility to enhance their job prospects.

A - Level / Scottish Highers / BTEC or NVQ equivalent
Access / Foundation Course or Apprenticeship

Job Requirements

·Familiar with software technologies such as CSS, XHTML, HTML 5, Javascript, SQL, PHP, and MVC frameworks

·Recently graduated or current computer science (or relevant discipline) student

·Able to work quickly in a professional and organized manner upon meeting deadlines for clients

·Independent, Industrious, Creative, and Reliable

·Good knowledge of the adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, dreamweaver, etc)

·In addition to preferences, candidate to reside in the West Midlands region, to be precise Birmingham, to collaborate with other web designers, but not essential

·Can ensure that web sites are designed and constructed to the specifications and elite standards required

·Strong conceptual and analytical skills to solve problems that arise

·Web savvy- Able to update themselves on the latest advancements in web technology computer software and be able to quickly adapt to them for use
