EVENTS COORDINATOR INTERN

Free Belarus Now is currently looking for an Events Coordinator Intern to help increase awareness of the situation in Belarus and raise funds through a range of fun events and activities

to allow us to continue to defend the human rights of the Belarusian people.

This role will require a proactive, reliable and highly organised individual who will follow things through till the end. You will need to be a confident, clear communicator comfortable in speaking to a wide range of people. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in developing a career in events coordination, who will take full advantage of the amazing opportunity which this internship can offer.

This is a 6 month unpaid voluntary position with the opportunity to extend.  The role would ideally suit someone who is a current student or a recent graduate able to commit to 8 hours per week, some of which will be required to be within working hours. Applicants will need to be based in or around London, though remote working will be considered to exceptional candidates. You will be supported by our team and required to commit to fortnightly meetings in central London.

What you will do

  • Help organise a range of events and activies including:

Comedy nights

Gigs

§ 

Films screenings

  • Key aspects of this role include

Sourcing venues

§ 

Organising dates

§ 

Put together invitees lists and creating tickets

§ 

Ensuring performers and participates are kept informed

  • Working closely with the Social Media Intern to promote events.
  • Research and initiate new ideas for events and activities to help the cause.
  • Participate in creative communication and campaign brainstorming.
  • Actively get involved in all aspects of organising the events.

Education Level
