Blogger / Content Writer - London

gtec is looking for a dynamic, hard-working online editor intern who will create and deliver compelling content, developing original and fresh ideas for our weekly homepage themes as well as our blog, marketing newsletters, emails and product pages. The online editor intern will be responsible for creating content and refining the tone of voice on the site.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a relevant degree, blogging experience, a strong engineering background would be favourable. We are looking for someone who not only has great writing skills but is passionate about electrical / mechanical engineering. You will be expected to be both thoughtful and engaging in your writing.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver content that is SEO compliant
• Set the strategy for our blog and create and deliver daily content including product highlights, inspiring pieces about subjects related to compressed air, air compressors and engineering.
• Partner with the marketing team on any marketing copy including emails, advertising copy and on-page SEO

GCSE / Scottish Standard Grade / BTEC or NVQ equivalent

Advertising / Marketing / PR
Engineering

• Excellent written English combining a thoughtful tone with a creative mind.
• A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy
• Great attention to detail
• Highly organized and ability to meet short deadlines
• Ability to provide excellent work on a range of copy from SEO text to features and blog posts
• Mailchimp experience advantagious
• Experience with SEO preferred
• Wordpress knowledge is favouriable
