Class 2 Driver – Cambuslang (Glasgow) – £11.00 p/h

Nexus People are looking for Class 2 drivers in Cambuslang to work for one of the UK’s leading DIY, Hardware and Homeware stores. All applicants must be able to get to Cambuslang to start work for 06:00.

Please note – you MUST have a valid Class 2 Licence to be eligible for this role!

What does being a Class 2 driver mean?

• Driving an LGV – Class 2
• Store & Home Deliveries (Kitchens and Bathrooms)
• Accompanied by a Drivers mate who will help with deliveries
• Vehicle Maintenance Checks
• Route and delivery paperwork completion
• Some manual handling (working in a 2 person crew)

Shift times & working hours of a Class 2 Driver…

• Shift times from 06:00 to Job Finish

What do we need from you to be a Class 2 Driver?

• Full Class 2 driving licence
• Minimum 12 months experience
• 90 days tacho recorded driving in the last 280 days
• We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements
• Digi Tachograph Card
• DCPC Card
• Completion of a full corporate driving assessment
