Operations Manager in London

We are an organic, plastic free, flower grower and subscription sale startup with big scale-up plans into premium flower design and later in organic plastic free retail. We have 20+ years of FMCG background and corporate experience behind us fuelling this project.

6 - 13 hours per week
Between £40.00 and £100.00 Per Week

What are you going to do:

Initially, you will plan and roll out urban farming site enrollment. You will work with councils or plot owners to enroll new sites and oversee production operations for us. You will work with our Founder and under a weekly guidance schedule. We will encourage you to be bring your own ideas to the table and you will get coaching and guidance before you roll them out. Specifically you will:

 - Identify urban growing spaces and arrange meetings with relevant councils or plot owners to agree a mutually benefitial set up.

 - Set up growing operations for each site. Document all procedures to create a handy how-to guide. The knowledge will come from us, you need to set up the processes. 

 - Research other organic and plastic free private organisations or government departments for collaboration or grants.

Later you will set up operations and logistics of the future online retail expansion. 

You will ideally be living near or in West/South West London or areas of Surrey close to London. Please do not apply if you are not close enough to London. You will need to visit sites in west London and should be able to do it easily.

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels
  • Operations Complexity Management
  • Ideally some Operations Management experience
  • Ideally some Project Management experience
  • Complexity Management experience
  • Detailed Documentation and Processes set up experience
  • Professional, High work ethics, Courteous
  • High energy level
  • Detailed oriented and organized
