PAID Internship - Digital Communications

We are running our first Summer School with 25 students from the three partners and we need a Digital Communications Intern to be involved!

20 hours per week
£12.50 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Bringing together the engineering capabilities of Arizona State University, King’s College London and UNSW Sydney TEDI: London is a separate joint venture between the three partners to establish a new engineering University focused on an innovative approach to delivering a flexible, global engineering programme.

Job description

  • Gather audio visual / visual coverage at key events
  • Edit and produce short videos and podcasts
  • Support creation of content for social media channels e.g. Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn
  • Some experience of writing and uploading content for websites, personal or professional
  • Engaging directly with Summer School students to highlight their experiences through the use of appropriate digital channels

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels
  • Practical, working knowledge of social media and emerging social media tools
  • Experience using recording, video equipment and editing software and photography ( there will also be a professional company engaged who you will be able to work with closely)
  • Excellent verbal skills enabling you to engage effectively with colleagues and students about their experiences and thoughts on the Summer School programme as it progresses
  • Demonstrate confidence, positivity and be self-motivated
  • Creative, you will be able to articulate ideas on how to maximise use of social media in this context
  • Aware of the nuances between different social networks and how to tailor messages for different audiences
  • Able to work in the UK
