Our Site Technical Managers play a huge part in our overall manufacturing operation. Our sites are demanding, pacey and ever-changing and it's our Site Technical Manager and their team that ensures Morrisons standards for quality, safety, compliance, social responsibility and integrity are achieved. So it's a pretty big task.
Reporting into Site Manager, you will form part of the wider Technical Team across Manufacturing and will also be responsible for:
- Working with colleagues across the business to identify, escalate and manage risks, deal with incidents and improve processes
- Manage raw material quality and compliance and external and internal audits
- Delivering strategic technical plans for site and running support groups around this strategy
- Support external regulatory and enforcement agencies, and be the technical adviser for third party customers

The Rathbones team at our bakery in Wakefield supplies everything from hot cross buns and seeded loaves to delicious orange and cranberry muffins.
At our 28,000 square foot bakery, we produce 47 different bakery products. Bread. Muffins. Rolls. Crumpets. Pancakes. Naan. Pitta breads. Frozen products for our store bakeries. And of course, the famous Rathbones Toastie. Here, our 340-strong team keeps our production lines running 24/7, so our customers can always enjoy their daily bread.
