Senior PR Executive in Hemel Hempstead

Job description

The Senior PR Executive will support the PR and Social Media Manager in the execution of Haven's brand campaigns.

This is a key time to join the UK's leading holiday company as we develop our parks of the future as well as maximise our official partnership with Team GB. This is a great opportunity for a person looking to move into a more senior role while being supported by a wider team to help them grow and develop. 

Key responsibilities: 

Drafting and pitching press releases, articles, stories and blog pieces and being a key contact for the business with travel journalists.
Working with the UK's leading holiday company which has great affinity with journalists
Building and maintaining relationships with media contacts and with team members on parks.
Executing, with agency support, large scale PR activity for major Haven projects.
Monitoring media coverage and reporting information to the internal team and clients. 
Supporting the wider PR and Social Media team with creating content
Deputising for the PR Manager where necessary and supporting with crisis issues where necessary.

The ideal candidate:
Proven PR experience gained in house or agency
Holiday and travel PR experience
Excellent communication skills and ability to build key relationships with Media Internal stakeholders
