What are you going to do:
Responsibilities for Social Media Manager include:
- Driving community engagement on social media channels
- Packaging & posting content to post on all social channels
- Collaborate with digital editor & support on projects for both online and social
- Working closely with the team at GAFFER to support on social media channels as well as other project responsibilities
- Engage with the online community, build relationships, and encourage further engagement on all social media platforms
- Find ways to engage and build relationships with online communities (Instagram, FB, YouTube)
- Encourage engagement and track relevant community metrics on all social media channels
Requirements Include:
- A love for football and passion for working with a trailblazing new voice in sport and culture publishing
- An individual with native digital skills and an understanding of social platform tools
- In-Depth knowledge of social media analytics and algorithms across channels such as Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube
- Excellent attention to detail when overseeing, creating, and posting online assets
- Ongoing awareness and interest in trends across social media, digital publishing, online video and sports channels internationally
- Someone who is eager to learn and highly adaptive to whatever tasks are provided
- Knowledge of google analytics and other metrics tools a plus.
