2-Day Exhibition Assistant for the NHS Expo at Manchester (4-5 Sep)

Seeking an enthusiastic and driven Exhibition Assistant at the largest NHS Expo from 4-5 September (2 days). This will be a front-facing role that will provide you with the chance to network with senior healthcare leaders and attend keynote sessions.

10 - 21 hours per week

WHOM WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Exhibition Assistant at the NHS Expo from 4-5 September. This will be a front-facing role.

 

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

NHS Health & Care Innovation Expo is the largest NHS-led event that unites more NHS, local government and social care leaders than any other health and care event.

 

Dates: 4-5 September 2019 (2 days)

Time: 8.00am – 6.30pm

Where: Manchester Central Convention Complex

 

Close to 5,000 delegates will be attending, with this year's focus on bringing the NHS Long Term Plan to life.

 

You’ll hear big announcements about the future of the NHS and social care, and meet the people leading the transformation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the startup founder in managing the exhibition booth
  • Interact with healthcare personnel and answer general questions
  • Explain Pillpresso’s features, benefits and how it is applied in a healthcare setting (training will be provided)
  • Assist in operations and ad-hoc duties as required

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Has a healthcare background (e.g. nursing) or has past experience in caring for a loved one. [Preferred but not compulsory]
  • Pleasant disposition
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoys interacting with others
  • Comfortable with speaking to healthcare personnel
  • Must be available for all 2 days of the NHS Expo

Remuneration: £10 per hour (inclusive of training time; can be discussed).

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels
  • Enjoys interacting with others, with the confidence to interact with healthcare leaders
  • Able to commit to training and 2 full days of the Expo
  • Healthcare background preferred (but not compulsory)
  • Strong communication skills
  • No experience required
  • Bachelor degree
