What are you going to do:
We have a new and exciting opportunity for an ambitious 1st Line Support Engineer to join our hard working and friendly team at our Head Office in Highams Park, East London. If you’re a recent graduate, or someone that has a keen interest in Computers and Technology and you’d like to step-up and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, then we encourage you to apply for this role. Full training and development will be given.
Your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Provide our clients with 1st line support to our via telephone and remote access.
- Log new and update existing support tickets in our new online ticketing system.
- Visit sites to support users in person when required.
- Support our clients in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary guidance and advice.
- Provide day-to-day support for 3rd Party Applications (such as Microsoft Office/365 etc.) and bespoke 1st party in-house applications.
- Provide day-to-day support for Cloud-based services (such as Office 365, Sage, Adobe etc.)
- Conduct basic Active Directory Administration.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues on PCs, Apple Macs and Peripherals.
Your Skillset.
- A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems from Windows 7 onward will be an advantage.
- You need a basic understanding of current leading technologies and terminology.
- A basic understanding of networking would also be an advantage.
- A ‘Hands on’ approach and a willingness to learn and progress is essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
