Sales & Partnership at Embargo in London, Farringdon

What are you going to do:

We like it too and the best thing is, it is part of our job to understand the hospitality industry and interact with it. We work directly with hundreds of venues in London, hundreds of thousands of customers and are changing how the hospitality industry ticks.

We are a beacon based loyalty rewards and CRM platform for the hospitality industry to connect and interact with customers. We work closely with famous bars and restaurants in London and help them drive more business, increase their customer returning rates and provide them with tools to build and manage their customer relationships.

We are looking for someone who can roll up his/her sleeves and has good communication skills, but is also ready to put in the hours and do the hard work. Your mantra should be ‘if there is a will there is a way. And I will not be satisfied with average.’

Based in Central London, you will be part of a small team and you will work on business development, sales, customer relationships, marketing. You will have guidance, education and help, but a positive, proactive can-do attitude is essential for us.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build relationships with venues on the Embargo platform and onboard new ones
  • Close deals with restaurant and Bars by owning the entire end-to-end sales process.
  • Support the development and execution of in-venue sales strategy
  • Clearly communicate the value of Embargo and its newest products and projects.
  • Structure and prepare pitches and carry out market research as well staff trainings about Embargo

What we ask:

  • At least finished high school
  • An excellent work ethic and the ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Good understanding of the principles of sales, best practice and data analysis
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Time flexibility allowing to work out of regular office hours (events, staff trainings etc)
  • Bonus: experience in hospitality (any positions)
