Kitchen Team Member - Beefeater

Beefeater is one of the UK’s best-loved and best-known restaurant brands. Customers love us because we’re ideal for any occasion - from a quick bite, to a celebration with friends or family. Serving up great food and warm welcomes every day, we’ve grown to have restaurants all across the nation. We are proud to be part of the Whitbread family of brands.

As the UK’s largest operator of hotels& restaurants, Whitbread makes everyday experiences special for millions of customer and creates excellent career opportunities for people like you!

In this varied role, you’ll help to make sure the kitchen delivers great food for every customer. And if you’re keen to build a career as a chef, this is a perfect place to start. You’ll assist the chef in all kinds of ways. You will help to prepare, cook and present food to the highest standards, on time, every time. Taking particular responsibility for starters and desserts, you’ll create a fantastic first impression and make sure each meal ends on a high. You will also take great pride in washing up and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean. In return, we’ll provide excellent training.

You don’t need previous experience to join us in this role. It’s all about what you can bring as a person. You’ll bring high standards - that means keen attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and improving all the time. You’re very organised and always ready for a challenge. So, you’ll happily adapt when things get busy, to make sure our food is always tasty, safe and well-presented. Like all of us, you really care about our customers. You’re committed to your colleagues too, and you’ll work hard for them. Crucially, you always strive to be the best in everything you do.

You’ll enjoy the chance to shine every day, benefiting from the best training and development programmes in the industry. And, if you work more than 16 hours a week with us, you could also choose to study for an apprenticeship, giving you nationally recognised qualifications that are yours to keep!

Remember, wherever you’re coming from, we will help you get to anywhere you want to go. Are you ready to make a difference for our customers, colleagues and your career?

Whitbread is an inclusive employer, strongly believing that everyone is unique and there should be no limits to ambition. We welcome your application whatever your background or situation. We are open to flexible working and, where possible, will try to support this.
