The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is offering an exciting opportunity to join an Apprenticeship Scheme that provides an in initial 12 month programme enabling the development of knowledge, skills and the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.  The position will cover all Trust sites: Pinderfields, Pontefract and Dewsbury Hospitals and the wider community.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motived, outgoing person.   The successful applicant would need to demonstrate great caring, communication, and teamwork skills.  All skills will be developed further as part of the apprenticeship programme.  On successful completion of the apprenticeship, together with compliance with all Trust policies and procedures, the successful applicant will have the skills and knowledge required for the vacant position.

 

This apprenticeship opportunity attracts a salary of £14265.00 per annum.  All course fees will be paid for by the Trust.  The apprentice will achieve a Certificate in Administration, QCF Diploma level 2 in Business and Administration and Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT level 1.

 

This is initially a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship with milestones set. 

 

Applicants must be eligible and willing to undertake a Level 2 Apprenticeship and hold GCSE grade 3 to 9 in English Language and Maths or equivalent qualifications. 

 

There is an eligibility criteria for government funded apprenticeships which requires the applicant to be aged 16+, be a resident in the UK/EU for the last three years. Applicants cannot have achieved a qualification at level 2 or above in the same pathway as this will exempt them from being able to undertake the apprenticeship.
