Internship for SEO/SEM with opportunity to be Digital Manager in London

Media company, we’re looking to add an enthusiastic individual with extensive knowledge of SEO/social media to our close-knit team. Has the potential to go permanent all things being well. What are you going to do:

We operate in a wide variety of business. The only limit is your vision.  We offer an internship with the potential of you becoming Digital manager and growing your own team.

We need an SEO champion to grow brands and our TV presence, ensuring  websites really stand out and reach potential new customers using techniques and tactics that all your skills can bring. In this role you will be assisting in managing the organic search, creating offsite campaigns that drive engagement and acting as a fountain of knowledge for all things SEO.

We are results orientated. You can have flexibility with working arrangements if necessary. We are close Train station and a hard working creative team.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the development, scoping and delivery of the SEO strategy for the various brands we are growing. Ensuring tactics are executed, working with Global Ecommerce and local market teams.
• Audit the site and identify strategic opportunities for local markets and prioritising them against other tactical actions to achieve a balance of short to long term performance.
• Analyse keyword rankings and trends to influence and optimise content. Evaluate and suggest UX changes to improve on-site performance
• Manage projects to support your strategy in agreement with the Global Director of Marketing.
• Delivery of performance against set KPI’s and personal annual objectives. Support the development of the technical roadmap for SEO, ensuring prioritisation by business impact
• Monitoring and growing SEO traffic and revenue. Run, manage and analyse the effectiveness of SEO tests using best practice methods
• Supporting local markets, acting as centre of excellence, sharing best practice. Provide SEO guidelines to diverse teams. 
• Stay at the forefront of SEO practices and share across the business acting as a super SEO/SEM champion.

Experience
• Study SEO
• Experience of working on sites.
• Able to deploy a numerate, evidence based approach
• Competent use of SEO tools including Google Webmaster Tools, Google Business Manager, web crawl tools, rank performance tools, web analytics, etc.
• Understanding of measuring the impact of SEO, tracking KPIs and deriving insight
• Excellent knowledge of the latest best practice link and social share earning strategies, tactics and processes
• Excellent understanding of website IA, URL structure and schema, able to leverage tools to analyse website taxonomy and provide recommendations.
