What are you going to do:
Apprentice Event Support Administrator / Assistant
An exciting opportunity had arisen for a dynamic individual to join Richards Events & Recruitment Services who are looking to appoint Trainee Office Administrator on the Government Apprentice Scheme.
You will learn a variety of admins skills from advertising through to assisting with the delivery of recruitment service across the various divisions which includes Events staff, Security and ad-hoc client recruitment.
Key training will include:
- Understanding and filling current vacancies as they arise with quality candidates - the roles will vary based on current requirements from Event staff to Event Security
- Book staff into various roles and maintaining contact daily/weekly both verbally and via email
- Sending out staff briefings
- Advertise vacancies on a variety of mediums including both internal and external platforms
- Review all applications to assess suitability
- Pre-screening via telephone calls with suitable applicants to establish basic information, experience and right to work in the UK before proceeding to online or face to face interviews
- Arrange interviews, liaising with the applicant, booking rooms and providing confirmations to all parties involved
- Sending our time sheets, updating booking sheets and passing relevant information to payroll
- Maintain and create spreadsheets for temporary workers details and availability
- Alongside the Recruitment Manager, build a talent pipeline of excellent individuals who would be interested in working in other areas
- Update candidate registers and sending our mailshots of work available
- Attending events to gain hands on experience and understanding of the roles and skills required
- Marketing campaigns
- Photocopying, scanning, filing and post
Requirements
Skills and Experience
- Confident telephone manner
- Fantastic people skills – ability to build report quickly and effectively
- Well organised and able to multi task
- Great team player whilst also comfortable to work autonomously at times
- Flexible in approach
- Good attention to detail
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Takes the initiative and is pro-active and happy to think creatively
- Computer literate including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Social media experience
