Sales and Business Development Intern in London

We are looking for a confident, personable and driven candidate to join our dynamic, fun team! This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about immersive theatre, advertising and entertainment. You will be required to research and help formulate the sales strategy for key C-suite decision makers, initiate and schedule contact with target companies as well as assisting the sales and business development team in their day-to-day activities. Our target company focus is a mixture of brands and pioneering businesses, creative agencies, PR agencies and media planning agencies - with UK and Europe as the priority focus for securing meetings.

40 hours per week
Between £9.00 and £10.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a weekly sales report of calls, meetings, briefs, new contacts 
  • Calling and keeping a record of all conversations with relevant prospects on our CRM system
  • Scheduling/ coordinating secured new business meetings and conferences in team diaries 
  • attending certain client meetings, supporting by taking notes and briefing other departments of any preparatory research 
  • Company background - what do they do? are they the key decision maker, if not who is? 
  • What are they working on now, what have they worked on before?
  • Brands within an agency portfolio 
  • Case studies of their work
  • Competitor Intel 
  • Build and maintain client database and comms on Pipedrive
  • Helping to secure a goal of at least one new brief a fortnight and on average 5-7 quality new business meetings a week 
  • Working with our interns to build a picture around target clients with organograms
  • Generally having a proactive input towards creating opportunities for new business, especially looking for networking events and retainer opportunities with brands and relationships with key decision makers at major creative agencies
  • Salary is London Living Wage

What we ask:

  • At least finished high school
  • Confident, driven with strong people sills and sales etiquette
  • Excellent communication skills (face to face, via email or on the telephone)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel and Word in particular
  • Self-driven proactive individual
  • Diary Management experience
  • Experience within sales and business management
