Freelance Events Crew needed! in Redditch

The Events Company are a multi-service event management agency based near Birmingham. We have been putting on events for over 15 years. Due to our success, there is always a demand for highly experienced, professional event crew to join us on a freelance basis. We work with some amazing clients and our events are extremely varied, so no two days are the same. Event crew are the life blood of our company, hence the lookout for the professionals out there. You must be physically fit and have experience in delivery of events to apply for this role. The successful candidates will be guaranteed work, especially as it is our busiest season approaching.

4 - 8 hours per week

What are you going to do:

What's expected of you?

  • To help with the set-up and breakdown of all types of events; this could be anything
    from a family fun day, to a race night or team building.
  • Loading/unloading vans of equipment, both on and off site.
  • You will be dealing with all sorts of event kit, such as inflatables, small marquees,
    gazebo's staging and other equipment.
  • Our events take place across the country and you will be required to start and finish
    work from our unit base in Redditch.
  •  Expect unsociable hours, but if you are already an event professional, you will be used to
    this.
  • You must be presentable, have a good level of customer service and offer an
    approachable nature.

What we ask:

  • At least finished high school
  • Applicants must have a full driver’s licence
  • Willing to work flexible hours - a mixture of weekdays and weekends.
  • They must have experience with the set-up, breakdown and delivery of events.
