Social Media intern in London Borough of Southwark

We are looking for an intern to develop our social media presence of the brand as we prepare for launch (mid October - mid November) and manage our social media during our 6 week pop-up (25th November - 10th Jan). The individual will be responsible for researching & creating engaging posts, monitoring responses, grow the following & promote our products. The person would also be responsible for taking & editing product / lifestyle photos and short videos with our suppliers and at the airport.

15 - 20 hours per week
Between £10.00 and £11.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • Full responsibility for creating social media strategy and managing its implementation
  • Deliver relevant, interesting and dynamic content for Circla, keeping with our tone of voice & design - mixture of product videos, humour, information on what we stand for & why
  • Grow social following - potential for use of paid media
  • Research influencers, finding opportunities and engaging their followers
  • Help maintain the website, ensuring content and images are up-to-date and accurate, whilst adhering to SEO best practice
  • Manage the online community - create a framework for how we respond to customer queries
  • Develop a dashboard to manage KPIs
  • Be willing to learn (or already familiar) on how to manage customer communications through service like mail chimp (approximately 4 emails)

  • Pro-active and willing to learn (a true go-getter!) whether that is to research technology that can support / building KPIs / finding influencers
  • Creative, full of ideas and can think outside the box

  • Excellent copywriting abilities
  • No experience required
  • No certificate required
