Solent NHS Trust provides Specialist Community and Mental Health services across Portsmouth, Southampton and Hampshire. This role is based at St Mary’s Community Health Campus in Portsmouth.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our MSK, Podiatry and Pain Service, and complete a Business and Administration Apprenticeship Level 2.

Your role will include day to day administration tasks such as stock ordering, dealing with staff enquiries, scanning of patient notes, booking patient appointments, diary management, assisting with data quality reports and lots of general office duties.You will have the opportunity to experience working across the whole MPP service which will include learning aspects of how the MSK, Podiatry and Pain services operate.This may involve some travel to other sites.

We are looking for a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic individual who has a desire to work in administration and is committed to completing their apprenticeship with us. Most importantly, you must be willing to learn. We will provide you with all the training and on-going support you require to enable you to use the systems and processes within the MPP Service.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organisational, keyboard and telephone skills and will possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. They will also pay close attention to detail, be able to work to deadlines, be adaptable to changing/situations and able to manage and priorities their own work efficiently.
