We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who are interested in a Administration role within our Departments.
As an apprentice you will support service delivery within the Oncology & Haematology Centres at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by carrying out a full range of clerical duties and providing excellent customer service. The role will include a mixture of administration duties working within a busy office environment: assisting with record keeping (paper and electronic), communication with people on the telephone and in person, use of photocopier, PC, telephone and filing systems and reception duties.

You will be employed on a 13 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working between the hours of 8.00 am to 6.00 pm (7.5 hours per day). If successful there may be the opportunity to secure a permanent job role.
The apprenticeship scheme is run in partnership with Telford College, delivered on site at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, to ensure that you are supported through a high quality training programme; you will be required to undertake an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business and Administration Level 2 or Healthcare Support Services
Study time will be allocated within your working hours to achieve completion of the apprenticeship qualification.
