Business Development Intern in London

Now Trends Consultancy is an international boutique recruitment agency providing bespoke services within the fashion and retail industries. We offer expertise across all key functional areas from mid-management to front level retail positions. Our innovative approach and extensive network ensure that both clients and candidates get the best recruitment experience ever. As a business developer intern, you're the vital link between our clients and candidates. The role is very demanding and diverse with different tasks in business development. You would have to undertake tasks in recruitment at times.

40 hours per week

What are you going to do:

Daily tasks includes, but not limited to:

  • Using sales calls, networking and marketing techniques to gain potential clients
  • Making sales calls to promote our company to our potential clients
  • Organise and participate in meeting with clients for building and developing long-term relationships with clients
  • Research and gain a good understanding of the client, in terms of their industry, operation, corporate culture and product
  • Preparing contracts for clients

Profile

We are looking for candidate, who is passionate about luxury retail, fashion, business development, sales or marketing. Due to the training you would receive as part of the internship, all the candidates have to be available for full-time 3 to 6 months.

The ideal candidate should be:

  • A good command of English (both speaking and writing) is a must
  • Other languages would be desirable (Mandarin, German, Spanish, French, Italian)
  • Able to handle confidential information, including contracts, client database and candidate information
  • Strong communication skills
  • Have a strong understanding in luxury retail, fashion, sales or business development
  • Result-driven and able to work under stress
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines
