 We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our successful Apprenticeship Scheme in Malvern Community Hospital.

This is an opportunity for a confident individual.  The post holder will be part of the busy administration team based at Malvern Hospital who support the inpatient ward, and the outpatient department.  The post holder will be rotated to work in both areas which will enable them to achieve a rounded experience of the admin role within a community hospital.  These teams provide a comprehensive administrative service to support each team and will involve a variety of administrative tasks including data inputting, reception, telephone call handling, and general administrative tasks as set out in the job description.  The applicant will be expected to have good interpersonal and IT skills and be willing to learn and develop within the teams.

Our Apprenticeship Scheme is delivered by our own internal assessment team (SHINE Apprenticeships@WHCT) to ensure that you are supported through a high quality training programme. You will undertake the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract for up to 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with time for formal study towards the apprenticeship.  

Candidates who hold a Level 4 (or above) qualification already, i.e. HNC, HND or Degree, in a similar area to the apprenticeship will not be shortlisted. You are advised to read the Person Specification BEFORE you complete the supporting information section and tell us how you meet the requirements. To be successful you must be committed to completing the apprenticeship training programme.  This role is based in Worcester; please consider your ability to travel to and from this location a daily basis before applying.

Please note that if you do not indicate on your application form that you have achieved 4 GCSE (or equivalent) grade 9 – 4 or A-D (including Maths and English Language) you will not be shortlisted.
