LanguageLine need Interns for their Translation Department / London

What are the objectives of the internship programme? ➢ To introduce interns to the translation industry ➢ To help interns understand the structure of a language services provider environment ➢ To observe and participate in translation projects and activities appropriate to their competence ➢ To apply knowledge and skills acquired at university in a working environment. What is the duration of the internship? A minimum of 3 months, on a full-time basis. Please note that because we offer dedicated training, we prioritise full-time internships over part-time internships.

  • Regular formal and informal training sessions about CAT tools and Project Management

  • Experience in business practices, liaising with suppliers, dealing with issues, negotiating deadlines, managing a budget, working with CAT tools such as Trados and XTM

Extra information

The internship is unpaid, however we provide a daily allowance of up to £10 for transports and up to £6.50 for lunch (for each day worked in the office) – Receipts must be provided.
