We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for the position of

ON SITE RESPONSIBLE of our NEW Milton Keynes OMNI Logistics Centre

 

Within the H&M Group, Logistics is responsible to make our fashion flow in a sustainable, qualitative and efficient way. We put the customer in focus and our job is about fulfilling the customer promise, creating a great online and in-store shopping experience.

 

We open the H&M Group’s first OMNI (online and store) Logistics Centre in Milton Keynes (+- 73,000 m²). The Logistics Centre will employ approximately 1000 ambitious, committed and motivated colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for all daily distribution and Logistics operations for the UK/IE online and over 250 stores.

 

As an On Site Responsible, you will have an important responsibility when it comes to health and safety and ensuring efficient, sustainable logistic building maintenance. You embrace our company values, leadership expectations and are driven by a will to make a difference.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the On-Site Manager and responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Qualified Users 
  • Monitor facilities budgets for the building in partnership with the On-Site Manager and Logistics Controller
  • Build strong relationships with external suppliers ensuring our expectations are met and we receive quality services
  • Using your entrepreneurial spirit to identify cost saving and operational efficiency opportunities
  • Secure Health and Safety regulations in the building
  • Ensure that the safety and well being of employees or visitors in the building is the highest priority
  • In collaboration with the Facilities team, you will increase profitability through delivering a high quality and cost efficient service
