Marketing Specialist - Communications in Bradford

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist - Communications to join our collaborative team on a job share 3 days a week within the Communication arena. We’d love you to join us and play a part in our growing success story.

Our Head Office is based in Thornbury, on the outskirts of Bradford. Buzzing with activity, this is where decisions are made and we grow our business. Hilmore House is home to many of our support teams from trading, marketing and finance to tech, HR and property.

In our Marketing Specialist role you will execute multi-channel marketing activity on a local level. Specifically, you will focus on the execution of activities such as local leaflets, direct mails, targetted social media, out of home and new store launches. Other responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring our communication is relevant, compliant and compelling for our customers within their local area, taking ownership for end to end campaigns and striving for execution excellence. 

• Engaging with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Supply Chain, Local Marketing and Trading to create an effective customer experience and customer comms. 

• Using and suggesting improvements for our existing processes, creative look and feel and marketing planning in order to create and execute relevant activity.

• Working and further improving our ways of working when opening new stores.

• Being an advocate for local marketing and the brand. 

• Day to day coaching of Marketing Advisor - Communications

So that you are set for success, we are looking for a self-starter, who is an exceptional communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. You will work as part of a versatile team with a can-do culture, so it’s important that you are tenacious and committed to providing an outstanding service. You will also have:

• Proven track record in developing marketing processes and executing these to a very high standard, within a customer-focused, retail environment 

• A passion for using communications to make marketing relevant to the local customer; interested in design, messaging, imagery and brand guidelines 

• Brilliant organisation skills, able to manage numerous projects simultaneously

It would be even better if you have experience in local marketing.
