Cyber Security
In Cyber Security we deal with some of the most urgent issues facing businesses and governments today. We help organisations from all sectors operate securely in the digital world. Our specialist advisors help clients reduce their exposure to threats, improve their defences and respond to cyber incidents. We also help our clients address the legal issues around breaches, data protection and privacy and implement a culture and environment where people understand how to behave securely and do the right thing.
It’s a vast and complex field that involves everything from cyber security strategy and technical design, implementing effective security solutions and processes, to responding to cyber incidents and breaches.
Core Advisory
Core Advisory is focused on supporting a broad range of risk and business consulting specialisms focused on helping our clients to manage their exposure to cyber risk. This two-year programme is broken into four rotations of six months each, where you’ll gain the diverse experience needed to develop develop your cyber security skills and expertise. Some of the services we offer to our clients include
Assessing and measuring their exposure to cyber security risk
Developing a strategy and vision for tackling cyber security
Designing and implementing the secure IT architecture a client needs to be secure
Designing and putting in place security training and awareness programmes
Gaining experience of security operations and incident response.
What you’ll need
You'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1. based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study. The subject of your degree is not important; however, you'll need to demonstrate a passion for a career in technology and how organisations use it.
