Senior PHP Developer - Creative Agency - London - £60k

The role is with a creative agency who have created multiple award winning campaigns (not just saying that) for marketing and advertising agencies and global brands alike. They have a huge portfolio and 4 offices (so far) based in the UK and US.

When working for my client you can expect to be working of exciting projects that include: Online display advertising, Digital OOH, Specialist Digital platforms and huge interactive projects.

The Role:

You would initially be joining the Product Development team. The successful candidate will be working on the rebuild and development of their client platform, which needs an overhaul on both design and functionality. The platform itself allows developers, creatives or even clients themselves to mass produce and localise their work.

The successful applicant will be working on maintaining the current version of the platform but the most of your time will be spent designing and developing the next release.
You will be working very closely with the Product lead and Front End Developer to help push the application forward.

Required Skills:

*Expert level PHP5 (or later) Development (this include OO PHP)
*Experience in using frameworks such as Symfony (preferred) OR Laravel
*Very Strong AWS experience - development and deployment
*Very strong MySQL
*Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
*GIT Version Control experience
*Experience in web service protocols: REST, JSON etc.
*API Integration
*Great communication skills - being able to communicate technical aspects in a non-technical way is essential.
