Junior - Mid Front-End Developer - London - £40k
My client are a strategy led digital agency, with a huge focus on tech and how it can be innovatively used to interact with people and create amazing experiences. They have been hugely successful with major clients such as BBC, EA etc.
They are looking for a talented junior - mid level Front End Developer to come in and join their tech team. Working in a fun, fast-paced environment and focusing on the front-end functionality of their clients projects.
Requirements
*Good level of HTML5 and CSS3 with knowledge of polyfills for backwards compatibility
*Strong advocate of clean, efficient and beautiful code. This is critically important.
*SCSS experience
*Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of mobile browsers and mobile UX
*Solid understanding of JavaScript (without jQuery) and understanding of utilising common design patterns and performance optimization.
*Demonstrable background in building templates from design and UX documents
*A strong eye for detail with the ability to work closely with the design team to transform their vision into a digital solution
*Demonstrable experience with Block Element Modifiers methodology
*Source control (GIT) and preferably within a pattern such as Gitflow
*Experience using Front end Frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation etc. Foundation preferred)
Nice to have
*Experience with automated build tools
*Experience implementing frontend applications within backend frameworks (i.e. Symfony with Twig templating)
*Experience working within an agile environment
*Experience using either React or Angular2.
