Our interns begin with a comprehensive induction programme, and we'll ensure you are given both the support and responsibility - to help you hit the ground running and get the most of your internship.
You will become a valued member of your team during the scheme, and will gain a deeper understanding of careers in insurance, through coaching, on-the-job work, and supplementary development and training including a Lloyd's of London tour.
ACCOUNT HANDLER INTERN
If you join us as an Account Hanlder intern, you will join either our Marine or Energy team, gaining immediate exposure to really interesting insurance risks and markets, as well as developing a strong core understanding of key insurance concepts.
Account Handlers assist in the preparation of insurance policy wordings, market documentation, presentations and briefing papers for clients. They also liaise with clients and assist in assessing their needs to ensure the best service to them.
MARKETING INTERN
Marketing & Communications is a key team within Miller, and is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of integrated marketing strategies to support wider business growth plans. You will join as a Marketing Intern with the opportunity to work alongside the full Marketing team, assisting with marketing plans and working with individual teams to make sure plans reflect their needs, address the key marketing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in a career in insurance. This internship is open to penultimate or final year graduates who are on track for a 2.1 degree (or above), and have the right to work in the UK.
The scheme will run from 27 July to 11 September, and you should be available to work for the majority of the duration of the internship.
