What are you going to do:
To plan, deliver, monitor and coordinate a programme of high quality, professional coaching activities which are progressive and reflective of the needs of young people in the schools Activ8 work with all planned in accordance with the age group of children catered for at each session.
Duties:
To organise and deliver plan prepare and asses after school club sessions in a variety of sports.
To coach in a range of sports disciplines, at a level that is appropriate for each individual sessions.
To prepare and implement well structured and progressive coaching programmes ensuring a high quality delivery providing an enjoyable experience for the participants centred around their needs and abilities.
To assist and support the lead coach, in delivering high quality coaching.
To act as lead coach when directed to do so, while acting in this role deliver high quality professional coaching as a representative for Activ8 Education.
You will be required to be;
Good communicator, someone who is approachable, patient and above all passionate about their sport.
To effectively supervise, mentor and direct support staff, work experience placements, volunteers and apprentices where appropriate.
To be committed to continuous professional development relevant to the post and personal training needs.
To maintain current knowledge of relevant National Governing Body programmes policies and practices (in particular FA).
To carry out administrative duties as necessary e.g. maintain accurate attendance registers, collect monies when the need arises.
To assist in the collation of management information as and when required in particular with regard to health and safety requirements.
To attend any team meetings arranged by the head coach.
To abide by Acitv8 code of conduct and other policies while carrying out duties at the various location always presenting a professional positive image.
To agree to work with Activ8 management in meeting all heath and safety at work responsibilities, safeguarding children policies while supporting equality and diversity at all times ensuring a safe play and learning environment at all times.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Salary: £10.00 /hour Experience: Coaching: 1 year (Preferred)
