What are you going to do:
Velo is an exciting and innovative fast-casual concept, offering fast, fresh & healthy Vietnamese food to office workers. We have two branches, one restaurant in London Bridge and one kiosk in Reuters Plaza, Canary Wharf.
- WE ARE RECRUITING TEAM MEMBERS FOR BOTH OUR BRANCHES FOR DAY OR EVENING SHIFTS.
- THE CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO FLEXIBLE TO WORK AT BOTH BRANCHES.
NOTE:
- AT CANARY WHARF, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO WORK UNTIL 01:00 (1AM) CLOSING TIME. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WORK THIS LATE EVERY NIGHT, BUT SOME NIGHTS. THE COMPANY PAYS FOR YOUR JOURNEY HOME IN AN UBER CAR.
- AT LONDON BRIDGE, STAFF FINISH AT 22:30 CLOSING TIME.
What position are we offering?
- Part-time or Full-Time Working hours: MON-FRI, occasional weekends 20-50 hours per week Hourly Rate: £8.30-£9.00/hr depending on experience
- Holidays: 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays)
Team Member Role:
- Serving customers at the counter and on the floor Preparing food behind the counter.
- Ensuring high levels of food quality
- Topping up drink and packaging
- Checking stock and unpacking packaging
- Closing shop

- Understand the importance of maintaining high standards of service and hygiene.
- Previous restaurant experience is a MUST
- Candidates with experience in established quick service restaurants preferred.
- Hygiene Level 2 Certification preferred but not essential.
