Credit Control / Sales Ledger Clerk - IMMEDIATE START!
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with an excellent, forward-thinking service provider based in Barnsley, who are in urgent need for an experienced and hard working Accounts Receivable professional who can offer assistance during a busy period to bring the ledgers up-to-date on a temporary basis. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the experience across all areas of sales ledger and credit control, with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail with raising a high volume of invoices. Key Responsibilities: - Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email - Setting up new accounts - Allocating cash on to accounts - Creating/running daily credit reports - Journal payments - Resolving any queries with the customers - Taking payments over the phone - Raising a high volume of invoices on an ad-hoc basis - Daily management of own accounts Experienced required: - At least 1 years' worth of experience working within a Credit Control position - Confident liaising with individuals at all levels - Experience working with a high volume of accounts - Educated to GCSE level including Maths & English - Computer literate, including strong Excel skills If you meet the criteria for this role and are interested in finding out more about the role, please do not hesitate to apply or contact Abbie Goodison.
