Immediate need for multiple Java software engineers (full-time and contract) to work on a number of projects, including work on a suite of products used by developers globally. This is a 6 month project with a well-known international client and will require a broad range of full-stack skills including Java, OSGi, Spring, and optionally React. You will work as part of a small, dedicated team of engineers, playing an integral role in solving engineering challenges. This work falls outside IR35.
Design, architect and deliver excellent Java code on a daily basis
Work across all parts of the development stack, frontend and backend.
Get stuff done, but great care and attention
A minimum of 7 years experience in the software industry
Expertise developing large-scale systems in Java
Experience in building cloud and FaaS applications
An exceptional understanding of how to create and test clean code
A keen eye for detail and a relentless focus on quality which should be reflected in your outputs
Excellent academic qualifications and communication skills, written and verbal
Eligible to live and work in the UK
Experience developing cloud applications in AWS, GDP, or Azure
Experience using React, Typescript and OSGi
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
Excellent understanding of emerging technologies and best practices
Evidence of contribution to a personal or open source project
Evidence of taking a leadership role in a technical team to deliver software to market
Client facing experience and heads-down attitude
Experience of agile processes - planning, grooming, demo, retro, story points, burndown, etc
Excellent daily rates (based on experience and sector)
