Job description

Our Risk, Finance and Treasury (RFT) Technology team comprises c.3,500 colleagues operating across the UK, US, India and Czech Republic. We are accountable for the delivery of business change and technology transformation for Risk, Finance and Treasury Functions globally.


As a Business Analyst, you’ll be planning and performing analysis tasks for specialist applications and managing internal domain analysis resources for one or more components of a Programme. You’ll also be acting as a reviewer and quality gate for analysis output, challenging IT to ensure root cause is addressed and the right design delivered for user requirements.

Providing support to the Lead Business Analyst, helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme 
Articulating and presenting commercial effectiveness of requirement proposals within a project or initiative
Face off to one or many business areas/SME's understanding high level requirements and challenging where necessary
Supporting the Testing Strategy and input into the coverage of Test scenarios and conditions ensuring all requirements in scope are tested
Demonstrating a broad understanding of how the bank operates and the metrics used to measure performance
Evaluating problems and evaluates options in a systematic way


Experience as a Business Analyst working within a technology environment supporting change projects
Exposure of working with Excel as you’ll be required to interpret data and pull reports
Awareness of the software development lifecycle 

Experience of working within the banking industry would be beneficial
Working with Trading teams would be advantageous
