Our Chief Security Office (CSO) is a fully global team, with colleagues across EU, Asia, Africa and the US. We support the business in ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of the firm’s assets, implementing world class security solutions.


We’ve already implemented a strong protection for our business, but we need to adapt to the rapid change in the cyber arena. We need to ensure we detect security alerts quickly, then react, respond and recover.


As the Environment Management Lead, you will manage the DevOps estate within the CSO, ensuring we have good capacity, good development environment, solid configuration management and service management approach. You will also lead a team of 5/6 engineers to support the estate.



• Set up robust processes, practices and standards for the DevOps team
• Daily oversight and direct line management of a team supporting the estate
• Using your strong technical expertise, you will enforce technical methodology, and practice and monitor technical excellence.
• Organise, document and distribute accumulated technical expertise and learnings across the division
• Deliver modern and forward-looking DevOps solutions with a good degree of supportability and transparency, all within the our chose technology stack which includes hosting platforms, configuration and process tools
• Mature and simplify our tech portfolio, make material and measurable improvements to speed of delivery



• Understand ITIL as Service Management (COBIT, Incident / Problem Management)
• Excellent RedHat Enterprise Linux skills
• Exposure to writing detailed code in either Python or Shell
• Proven capability of leading a team of 5 to 10 engineers



• Exposure in the DevOps
• Exposure to storage and data technology
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills



You will be working at our technology hub in the North West, located at Radbroke Hall in Knutsford. It’s convenient for most people who live within a 35-mile radius, spanning from Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and Stoke. It’s a lively atmosphere with large open plan offices, with everything you need on site including various catering options, Starbucks, Gym, onsite parking etc.
