Elevation Recruitment Group are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Finance Manager for 370 million turnover business based in Rotherham. You will be responsible for leading a team of 5 in finance and will report straight to the Managing Director. This is an all-round Finance Manager role which will include, preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, accurate and timely reporting, provision and delivery of clear analysis of accounts, budgeting and forecasting, as well as business partnering. Duties & Responsibilities will include: - Managing a team of 5 - Providing continuous improvement for the department and looking at better reporting capabilities - Preparing forecasts, outlooks and annual budgets - Working closely with the Managing Director to provide financial analysis and support - Conducting variance analysis by channel and region against budget, prior year and forecast - Managing the financial reporting, management accounts production (including P&L and balance sheet) - Business partnering with various departments across the business - Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments - Cost and productivity analysis, with the ability to identify and recommend savings for the business - Regularly liaising with non-finance functions, including Sales teams to forecast and review results - Preparing/reviewing reporting to external parties and liaising with auditors - Maintenance of general ledger reconciliations and monitoring ageing of accruals To be considered for this role, applicants must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: - - Ideally Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (Qualified by Experience will also be considered) - Experience of working in a fast paced environment - Staff management experience - Good IT skills and confident in the use of Microsoft Excel - Good business partnering skills and able to build relationships with non-finance colleagues within the business - Good communication skills - Ability to prioritise own work and re-prioritise when necessary - Strong attention to detail and able to produce work with a high level of accuracy - Able to analyse information with problem solving abilities - Proactive and analytical mindset - Demonstrable influencing skills If you meet the criteria for this role, and are interested in being put forward please do not hesitate to apply or contact me to discuss.
