Graduate/Junior Mechanical Design Engineer Working on a multitude of projects from concept to launch you will play an important role in providing innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. We are looking for bright engineers who enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges providing fresh ideas to new product development activities. You will work in collaboration with cross functional teams of engineers on electro-mechanical products. The company are the world leaders in their niche area of technology and are of a size that you can make a significant different to current and future projects. As they design and manufacture in the UK you will also get to work in collaboration with manufacturing to actually see results of the technology that you have been involved with. You will work with some industry leading design engineers who will provide mentoring and a structured approach to training where you could get the chance to progress into more senior roles and take technical ownership of certain product areas. The customer base is on a global scale so they can also offer opportunities to meet and work closely with commercial partners. For this role we are looking for: - A top degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering. - A strong grasp of the fundamental behind mechanical engineering including: stress, tolerance analysis, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics and mathematics. - Strong 3D CAD skills.
