Reporting into the Technical Director, the Embedded Software Development Engineer would be responsible for the design and development of embedded software for electronic products and ; The successful Embedded Software Development Engineer would also act as an internal source of expertise on current and future technology, and possess an excellent background in a similar role. Essential skills for the Embedded Software Development Engineer: Proven background as a System Level Programmer Strong embedded software experience U-boot, Linux kernel, Android BSP development Strong grasp of ANSI C/C++ programming ARM architecture X86 Assembly language Degree in Computing, Software Engineering or similar subject The successful Embedded Software Development Engineer will receive a competitive salary upto £45,000 (DOE) and a strong benefits package including generous annual leave allowance and free on-site parking. In addition, every other working week is condensed into 4 days to allow employees Friday off.
