Venture Capital. Seed and early stage investment through to growth stage. Investing in deep-tech UK based companies. $400m Funds under management. How you expect the candidate to spend their day: Liaising with portfolio companies to write and produce press releases to share on social media, liaising with portfolio companies to write and place investment round press releases in industry and trade press. Blogs with the team, liaise and write, circulate. Keeping website updated, collecting founder stories upon investment. Helping with content for some deep-tech companies when preparing websites or marketing collateral. General hands on for other tasks, reporting, helping out around the office with other projects. Managing the portfolio slack channel, organising small tech roundtable events per quarter and producing content post the event. Summary: Manage and execute a comprehensive calendar of communications, including content articles, research, blog posts, social media, thought pieces that align to align with strategic themes Manage and execute the production, promotion and amplification of community and public events at Cambridge HQ and across key strategic geographies in UK for media and entrepreneur communities Monitor and manage the website and social presence, as well as keep updated online community spaces relevant to media and entrepreneur communities Manage and create engaging text, image, and video content that reflects the high quality and voice of the brand Manage internal marketing automation / CRM containing all key audiences: portfolio and external names Craft and send regular segment-targeted newsletters with company updates to stakeholder audiences, coordinating with PR and Brand teams to ensure brand consistency Liaise with other teams to stay updated on new investments and portfolio news Monitor news alerts, both from technology publications and portfolio companies, to remain informed of new activities of relevance to wider teams Join social media groups and professional platforms to monitor industry-related topics Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends, particularly as they relate to the European startup community Questions for applicants to think about: Are you interested in deep-tech, have some knowledge of deep-tech founders, early VC space Can you move to / work from Cambridge Are you independent and understand priorities and deadlines Bold team personality-wise
