A healthcare performance analysis group seeking to improve healthcare services around North London, ensuring services are sustainable, effective, efficient and above all have patient’s interests at the heart of everything they do. This is a 4 month internship with the potential to convert to a permanent ; The performance analyst role sits across the north central London CCGs, supporting the performance management function, with a particular focus on cancer performance management. How can you expect to spend your day? In this internship you will join the Performance Management team to support the Head of Performance and Informatics in delivering accurate and clear datasets for healthcare reporting purposes, collecting, processing and analysing healthcare performance ; Key activities and responsibilities of the role include; Extracting data from a wide range of data repositories Undertake quality assurance checks on datasets Highlight data anomalies to the team for necessary action Translate data into useful information using Microsoft suit of applications or other packages, in particular, MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint Support the team with in the development of a range of reports This post holder will be willing to adapt to an evolving environment, be results-oriented and committed to a high standard of delivery. The ideal intern’s personality, qualifications and experience: This role most suits a recent graduate looking to develop commercial work experience in research and analysis within a world renowned healthcare organisation where personal development is encouraged and ; Desired skills: Educated to degree level An interest to learn about performance assessment and improvement business analysis and improvement Comfortable with research and data led work, mainly desk based but some over the phone or face to face An interest in healthcare Strong level of numeracy An organised individual able to prioritise workload as required Working knowledge of a range of MS Office programmes especially Excel Good interpersonal skills and someone comfortable liaising with colleagues and partners on a professional level Looking to develop a professional career in either research, business analysis or ; What are the perks of working for this company?
