About The Role

The Morrisons Digital team are looking for looking for a Senior Digital & Innovation Manager to join our team based at our head office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. You will be responsible for the strategy and planning of products that benefit all our customers, or colleagues. 

 

You'll be accountable for things like this as our Senior Product Manager:

  • Maintaining the high-level roadmap for our Digital Colleague or Customer experience

  • The decision maker and supervisor who can guide the product strategy in the right direction. 

  • Analysing user needs and feedback. Actively listening and responding to market trends

  • Building a strong network across the Group and using effective persuading, storytelling and aligning of requirements to ensure the development of the best possible product for our stakeholders

  • Using excellent logical and communication skills to negotiate, promote and update senior leaders

  • Managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets to the agreed product budgets and forecast

  • Making sure that end user requirements are clearly captured and are translated into tangible product deliverables

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with our key stakeholders: Including the Technology function, Business Stakeholders and Third Party Suppliers with outstanding communication and teamwork

  • Co-ordinating dependencies and assumptions between projects, including those outside of your immediate team, to ensure no detrimental impact to other products while ensuring the successful delivery of your own portfolio of products

About You

To be a Senior Product Manager here at Morrisons, you'll need skills and experience like this:

  • A broad perspective of a business, not just a single function

  • Track record of delivering products

  • Experience of working with a range of project management methodologies (Prince2, APM, Agile would be advantageous)

  • Skilled in working within matrix structures and leading others

  • Experience of managing teams including partners.  

  • Strong commercial awareness and experience of developing/operating third party contracts

  • Significant budget accountability and proven ability to manage budgets effectively and transparently

  • Credible influencing and stakeholder skills across all levels
